Here’s an excerpt of the bio section from Louis’ latest book on Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
First and foremost I’m a father, husband, brother, and son to the most amazing people in the world – MY FAMILY!
Then during my free time I’m an author, blogger, speaker, and Internet Marketer. Nothing makes me happier than helping businesses to get more customers and grow beyond their expectations, helping them to become the dominant leader in their market.
When Did It All Start?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart… I graduated from Purdue University as an Electrical Engineer, and then I joined the U.S. Navy and moved into Civil Engineering, but the entire time I was constantly looking at ways to create additional income streams. I’ve done various things from teaching Scuba Diving as a certified PADI Instructor to working in the Satellite Operations and Software Industry to taking photographs throughout the world for several charitable organizations.
Along the way, sometime in the early 90s I started building websites and dabbling with Photoshop. At the time it was mostly a hobby.
When Did Things Start Taking Off?
Late 2007 I decided to start monetizing the websites that I was building and entered the realm of affiliate marketing. As a consequence I started to study Video Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and numerous methods for driving internet traffic (potential buyers) to my websites. As ‘social media’ started to become an important part of Internet Marketing, I dove right in. I’ve been on Twitter for years now and have built a healthy following.
How Do Things Look Now?
Since then I have been using the very same strategies that I learned to market and promote my websites to help local businesses get more customers and to grow faster than they thought possible.
I don’t say these things to brag but more so to try and show you my credibility. I’ve been there and done that, but I am not such a fool to let it go to my head. I’m just a normal guy who figured out some pretty cool stuff.
